In the conductor's room back stage before the concert together with the violin soloist, Sophia Jaffé, framing the famous portrait of Alban Berg by the Swiss artist, Franz Rederer (1899-1965), made in 1935, around the time of the composition of the Violin Concerto, a few months before the composer's premature death.
