Wellington's Victory
Just before the beginning of the new season Douglas Bostock and the argovia philharmonic joined forces with the Swiss Military Recruit Band in Beethoven's dramatic and entertaining "Wellington's Victory or the Battle of Vitoria". The Alte Reithalle (Old Riding Hall) in Aarau - all being well, the future home of the orchestra after reconstruction - was full to overflowing for the spectacular event. In addition many people worldwide followed it on FaceBook live-streaming. Within a week of the concert the video had gone viral and around 25'000 in all corners of the globe had viewed it .
