Douglas Bostock was scheduled to perform in Japan in September. The trip was, however, sadly cancelled due to immigration restrictions. As a result he was able to take on additional concert commitments with the Southwest German Chamber Orchestra to start the new season off in beautiful locations in the orchestra's home state of Baden-Württemberg and neighbouring Hessen.

Just before the summer break Douglas Bostock and the Southwest German Chamber Orchestra recorded the 3rd instalment in the video series "Discovery". This time Douglas presents Grieg's popular "Holberg Suite" Op. 40 with musical examples and background information in addition to a complete performance of each movement. At the end of August and beginning of September Douglas Bostock was involved in pedagogic activities, teaching conducting masterclasses in Porto, Portugal (BSP International Academy) and Brescia, Italy (International Masterclass organised by OFVC).
