All-Grainger in Osaka

Douglas Bostock returned to the top-class, professional Osaka Shion Wind Orchestra in January to conduct a programme dedicated to the music of Percy Grainger - possibly the first time in Japan. The orchestra rose to the challenge and played magnificently to a large and enthusiastic audience in Osaka's Symphony Hall. A fitting tribute to a great composer, for whose music Douglas has a particular affection.
