Tawian with Shion and new CDs

In early June Douglas Bostock led the Osaka Shion Wind Orchestra on a brief tour to Taiwan to perform at the Taoyuan Music Festival. Timed to coincide with the tour, the first two CDs in a new series "Shion x Bostock", one with music by Holst, the other with music by Philip Sparke, were released. A conducting masterclass and work as an extrnal examiner in conducting exams at the National Normal University in Taipei filled out Douglas' schedule.
