Beethoven complete

With the start of the 2016/2017 Season the argovia philharmonic and Principal Conductor Douglas Bostock launch their complete cycle of the Beethoven symphonies, which are also to be recorded. The Symphonies will be programmed in interesting and unusual contexts, as in the opening concert series, 18 - 23 September: Beethoven Symphony No. 1 - Berg Violin Concerto (Sophia Jaffé) - Beethoven Symphony No. 5. "Vorhang auf: Beethoven!" - Curtain up on Beethoven with Bostock and his innovative Swiss orchestra.
