Farewell 2019 - Welcome 2020

As new Principal Conductor and Artistic Director of the Southwest German Chamber Orchestra, Douglas Bostock conducted and acted as MC their New Year's Eve Concert "Prosit Europa! in the Congress Centre Pforzheim, Main Hall. The capacity audience said farewell to the old year in grand style.

Douglas was back with his orchestra to start the New Year with the traditional "Dreikönigskonzert" (Epiphany Concert) on 6th January, including a transcription of Elgar's Organ Sonata, which they will record for CD at the end of the month.

Also in South Germany, Douglas led his 10th anniversary Conducting Masterclass at the Music Academy in Staufen 10-12 January.
