Debut in Latvia

Douglas Bostock made his debut in Latvia with the Orķestris Rīga in the main hall of the National Symphony Orchestra on 2nd October 2020. It was the postponed concert from 30th March.. Despite a negative PCR test and being able to work freely with the orchestra, Douglas was require to be isolated in his hotel room when not working with the orchestra - another of the hardships of Corona in these unusual times. Nevertheless, the concert was a great success and a return visit, hopefully under better conditions, is on the cards.

In the dressing room Douglas "met" his great Latvian colleague, Mariss Jansons.
