Summer in Asia

Douglas Bostock spent most of July and August in Asia. In the first half of July he returned to Senzoku College of Music in Japan, where he has been Visiting Professor for many years. Form there he flew to Bangkok for a renewed collaboration with the Royal Bangkok Symphony Orchestra - this time "Best of British" with the cello soloist, Li Wei Qin in the Elgar Concerto.

August saw Douglas in Singapore for a brief conducting workshop followed by his second appearance this year with the Shion Wind Orchestra, this time in Kyoto in an all-Sparke programme.
